Being a “mate” is better than a skilled teacher- Bus conductor advises

A mate’s advice has been on the minds of many Ghanaians causing him to receive a massive chunk of the limelight in the country.

In a video interview by Ahomka FM, posted by Kwadwo Dost on TikTok,  the vibrant young man gave valid reasons as to why his choice of profession was excellent.

To him, he earned more money since salaries these days were given monthly. He proceeded to then cite examples as to how his 80 cedis a day sustains him to the best of his ability.

“I believe working as a bus conductor was a better choice because when I come to work, I eat three times and get petty tips here and there.

I also take home 80 cedis a day. So even if I have a wife who takes 20 cedis daily, I save 50 Ghana cedis daily. For transportation, I barely pay for that because most of the drivers and colleague conductors know me hence, they do not attempt to take money from me”.

He later encouraged many people to take “Mate” jobs if they had the opportunity to because he was greatly benefitting from them.
