TV personality and news anchor Johnnie Hughes has questioned the ruling party over the handling of monetary scandals during their reign of governance.
The ace presenter made his point with references to the Vicky Hammer and Cecelia Dapaah $1 Million scandals and asked why one of the women was sacked and the other allowed to continue to hold her position in office.
Hughes who noted that Vicky Hammer only thought of quitting politics after she got a million dollars from the government also made it clear that Cecelia Dapaah had this same amount and even more under her bed in physical cash but has a court case.
He continued;
” Under John Dramani Mahama, somebody only thought about 1 million dollars, she was sacked. Under Nana Addo’s regime, somebody was seen with 1 million dollars and he said my dearest Cecelia, I trust that you will come out clean.
Sometimes when I speak with my NPP and NDC friends, I understand why many people think politicians are the same because when it is in their favor, they are okay however when it is not they all tend to voice out their frustrations”.
Under John Mahama, Victoria Hammah only thought of having $1 million and was sacked, but a government appointee of this government had over $1 million under her bed, and nothing was done about it – Johnnie Hughes#JohnniesBite #ThrowbackThursday pic.twitter.com/PMgpb41sLx
