The NPP and its leadership have taken Ghanaians for granted- Yvonne Nelson calls for second ‘dumsor’ demo

Actress and filmmaker Yvonne Nelson has sparked widespread belief amongst her numerous followers after calling for a repeat of her iconic ‘dumsor’ demonstrations by reaching out to Imani Africa.

The actress who took to X to make her voice heard stated that she had waited for the organization to reach out to her however since that was not happening she had decided to handle matters herself but still needs the help of the tried and tested Centre for Policy and Education.

According to her, the Mahama ‘dumsor’ era demo was a complete success hence having another one will help the people of Ghana who at this point were being taken for granted.

Many tweeps on the platform seemed content with this new development since the actress was at the forefront of this demonstration in the Mahama era.

Some who lent their voices claimed Kofi Bentil of Imani was the brain behind the one put together during JM’s era hence they patiently waited for this year’s edition.

  • My respect for you has just tripled I salute. You speak up when it matters, but for those who were loud then a quiet now God is watching them
  • I was about to attack you until I saw this you are really bold God bless you for voicing the vote. Not attack you in a bad way though wanted to ask you if you have light.
  • Eego reach everybody! Imani has never been straight…….I knew it and there it is. They turn to muumu under Nana Addo. God go punish people eh
  • M’am, thank you for the bold step of reaching out to them this time around. if you expect them to reach out, it will never come. The CSOs are busily eating (no noise at the banquet) Those not invited to the banquet/buffet are also tagged as enemies of the government
