John Dramani Mahama releases key social interventions for Ghana if voted as next president

John Dramani Mahama has listed 6 key social interventions for Ghana should he win the 2024 elections.

The former president who recently launched the NDC manifesto at the University of Education, Winneba took to his X platform to to make known his social interventions to his fans.

WeekyNuuz has complied with the list hence here are six key social interventions Mahama will introduce and implement as part of measures to alleviate the hardship brought upon Ghanaians by the Akufo-Addo/ Bawumia administration.

1. Introduce the ‘No-Fees-Stress’ policy. First-year students in all public universities, colleges of
education, and nursing training institutions will be exempt from paying academic fees upon admission.

2. Reintroduce the Students Loan Trust Plus program to support continuing students in all public universities, colleges of education, and nursing training institutions so that they can pay their fees. 3. Introduce Free Tertiary Education for Persons with Disabilities.

4. Establish the Ghana Medical Care Trust
[MahamaCares] to support the cost of health care for persons with chronic diseases such as kidney failure (dialysis), cancers, sickle cell disease, diabetes, hypertension, and other heart diseases.

5. Provide free Sanitary Pads for female students in basic and secondary schools.

The former president hopes to reset Ghana and wants to do that with Ghanaians’ help, hence this comprehensive list.
